Welcome to Bardo, the fifth episode of The 100 season 7, starts with Clarke, Octavia, and Echo arriving on Planet Bardo. They are taken into custody by the local inhabitants who are members of a religious cult known as the Disciples. The Disciples believe in a higher power known as the Shepherd and they have been searching for the key to their future in a powerful artifact called the Anomaly Stone.
The three women are separated, and Clarke is taken to meet the leader of the Disciples, Anders. Anders explains to Clarke that she is the key to unlocking the mystery of the Anomaly Stone and that they have been waiting for her for a very long time. He reveals to Clarke that the Disciples have been traveling through the Anomaly for centuries, searching for answers to their questions about life and the universe.
Meanwhile, Octavia and Echo are taken to a prison cell where they meet a man named Levitt. Levitt is a Disciple who seems to be sympathetic to their cause and he offers to help them escape. He tells them that the Anomaly Stone is not just a powerful artifact but a portal to other dimensions and that there are other worlds beyond their own.
As the episode progresses, we see that Bellamy is being held captive by the Disciples on another planet. He is being tortured and brainwashed into believing that he needs to help the Disciples find the key to the Anomaly Stone. He is forced to take a drug that causes hallucinations and submits to their demands.
Clarke starts to have doubts about the Disciples' intentions and seeks answers to the questions they have been asking. She meets a man named Gabriel who tells her that the Disciples are not who they seem and that they are not searching for answers but for power. Gabriel believes that the Disciples are a dangerous cult and that they need to be stopped.
The episode comes to a thrilling climax as Clarke, Octavia, and Echo team up with Gabriel and Levitt to try and escape the Disciples' stronghold. They fight their way through the guards and eventually make it back to the Anomaly Stone. Clarke uses her knowledge of the Stone to transport herself, Octavia, and Echo to another planet where they hope to find a way to stop the Disciples from finding what they are looking for.
Welcome to Bardo is a fantastic episode that explores the depths of the Disciples' beliefs and their motivations. It also shows the strength and determination of Clarke, Octavia, and Echo as they fight to protect their people from the dangers of the Disciples' quest for power. The plot is tightly woven, and the pacing is perfect, keeping the viewers on the edge of their seats until the very end. This is one of the best episodes of The 100 season 7 and a must-watch for fans of the show.
