As the third season of The 100 nears its end, tensions are at an all-time high. In episode 15, titled Perverse Instantiation - Part One, the stakes are raised even higher as the characters continue to grapple with the aftermath of their actions.
Clarke (Eliza Taylor) is struggling with the fact that she has been forced to make some truly difficult decisions in the name of survival. She's grieving over the loss of a loved one and is questioning whether all of their sacrifices have been worth it. Meanwhile, Jaha (Isaiah Washington) becomes increasingly obsessed with leveraging the power of the City of Light to usher in a new era of peace and prosperity for humanity.
As Jaha convinces more and more people to join his cause, including former enemies like Pike (Michael Beach), many of the other characters begin to question whether his intentions are truly pure. They also begin to realize that the City of Light may be more than what it seems. As Raven (Lindsey Morgan) delves deeper into the technology that powers the City of Light, she discovers that there may be something sinister lurking beneath the surface.
Meanwhile, Bellamy (Bob Morley) and Octavia (Marie Avgeropoulos) find themselves in a perilous situation as they venture out into the wilderness to track down a rogue Grounder who may hold the key to defeating A.L.I.E. (Erica Cerra) and the City of Light.
As the episode comes to a close, the characters are left facing some truly difficult choices. They must decide whether to join Jaha and the City of Light, or to continue fighting against it. They must also decide whether to trust one another in the face of mounting tensions and looming threats.
Perverse Instantiation - Part One is a tense and action-packed episode that sets the stage for the season finale. As the characters come to grips with the true nature of the City of Light, they are forced to confront their own beliefs and biases. It's a compelling and thought-provoking episode that will leave viewers on the edge of their seats.
