Ann Marie is offered a big break in Europe, so she decides to temporarily close down her New York City apartment and take the opportunity to head across the pond. Upon arriving in London, Ann Marie is immediately struck by how different things are from what she is used to, with even the currency and modes of transportation feeling new and strange to her. Despite her initial trepidation, Ann Marie is excited to make new friends and explore the city's vibrant arts and culture scene.
However, things take a turn when Ann Marie meets Tony, a charismatic and free-spirited artist who introduces her to the world of Mod culture. Drawn to Tony's carefree and wild attitude, Ann Marie finds herself falling deeper and deeper into the Mod lifestyle, which is characterized by psychedelic clothing, fast-paced music, and a passion for living life to the fullest. As she immerses herself in this new world, Ann Marie begins to question whether she wants to ever return to her old life in America.
Meanwhile, back in New York City, Ann Marie's friends and family are concerned about her sudden disappearance. Desperate to find her, they go on a wild goose chase that takes them from the streets of Manhattan to the countryside of England. However, as they search for Ann Marie, they begin to uncover a darker side of the Mod culture that Tony and his friends are a part of. Soon, they realize that Ann Marie may be in grave danger, and they must do everything in their power to bring her back home safely.
With plenty of suspense, drama, and heart-wrenching moments, "It's a Mod Mod World (Part One)" is an action-packed episode that will keep viewers on the edge of their seats. As Ann Marie navigates the complicated world of Mod culture, she will be forced to confront some of the biggest questions of her life, such as who she really is and what she truly wants out of life.
