Ep 9. Time for Arrest

Upon hearing the story, Hollinger rushes to the station to offer his help. Ann is surprised to see him there and thanks him for his support. Hollinger then takes Ann and Don to a nearby diner and proceeds to drink heavily. Ann realizes that Hollinger's behavior is inappropriate and tries to leave, but Hollinger insists on buying them all dinner.

After dinner, Hollinger asks Ann to come to his apartment to read the script. Ann is uncomfortable with the idea but reluctantly agrees. When they arrive at Hollinger's apartment, he makes a pass at Ann and she quickly leaves.

The episode ends with Lou being released from jail and Ann deciding to quit the play. She realizes that Hollinger's flirtatious behavior was not a compliment, but rather a sign of disrespect. She tells Don that she wants to focus on her acting career and find a role that she can be proud of.
