In the 18th episode of the sixth season of That 70's Show, titled "Do You Think It's Alright?," the gang finds themselves in the middle of a debate about the morality of lying. When Kelso's girlfriend, Angie, learns that he has been lying to her about a number of things, including his job at the cheese factory, she breaks up with him. Kelso, not wanting to lose her, decides to come clean about everything and begs for forgiveness.
Meanwhile, Eric and Donna are having their own issues when Eric's parents announce that they are planning on moving to Florida. Eric is devastated at the thought of losing his childhood home and all the memories that come with it. Donna tries to convince him to talk to his parents and tell them how he feels, but Eric is too afraid of coming across as weak.
As if that wasn't enough drama, Fez is dealing with his own problems when he realizes that he has feelings for Nina, a girl who works at the DMV. When he finally works up the courage to ask her out, he is crushed when she reveals that she has a boyfriend.
Throughout the episode, the characters grapple with the question of whether lying is ever justified. A number of different ideas are presented, with some arguing that it's always wrong to lie, while others argue that sometimes it's necessary to spare someone's feelings or protect oneself. Ultimately, each character has to make their own decision about what they believe is right and wrong.
Despite the serious topic, the episode is full of typical That 70's Show humor, with plenty of zany antics and witty one-liners. Fans of the show will be happy to see their favorite characters back in action, dealing with the ups and downs of life in Point Place.
