In season 6, episode 16 of That 70's Show, titled "Man With Money," the gang is excited to learn that a wealthy businessman named Tom Stark has moved into the neighborhood. Hyde is particularly interested in meeting him, hoping to pitch a business idea of his own.
Meanwhile, Eric is struggling with his new job at a local fast food joint, where he is constantly picked on by his supervisor. He confides in Donna, who suggests that he try negotiating for better working conditions. Eric takes her advice and successfully negotiates a raise and a few extra perks.
Back at the Foreman house, Red and Kitty are dealing with a leaky roof and are looking for a solution that won't break the bank. When they learn that Tom Stark is offering to pay for the repairs, they eagerly accept his offer. However, things take a surprising turn when it's revealed that Stark has ulterior motives for his generosity.
As the episode progresses, the gang begins to realize that Tom Stark may not be the generous benefactor they initially thought he was. They uncover some unsavory details about his past and begin to question his motives for moving into the neighborhood. Hyde, in particular, is feeling conflicted as he struggles with the desire to pursue his business idea and the need to distance himself from someone with a shady past.
Meanwhile, Eric's newfound confidence at work leads him to take on more responsibilities and he begins to enjoy his job. However, he soon discovers that the fast food industry is not as glamorous as he initially thought and decides to quit, much to the disappointment of his supervisor.
In the end, the gang learns an important lesson about the dangers of making assumptions about people based on their financial status. They come to realize that wealth does not automatically equate to character and that it is important to dig deeper and get to know people for who they truly are.
