Eric and Donna are trying to wrap their heads around their recent break-up. While Eric tries to move on, Donna isn't able to let go of their past relationship. The situation is further complicated by the fact that they're both still living in the same house, creating an awkward tension between the two.
Meanwhile, Kelso's new girlfriend, Annette, is giving him some trouble. She's always asking him to do things for her, like drive her to work and buy her things, which is starting to get on his nerves. Hyde and Jackie, who are now dating, try to give Kelso some advice about standing up for himself, but they soon realize that Annette could be a bigger problem than they initially thought.
In an effort to take Eric's mind off of Donna, Fez suggests they go out and party. They end up at a local strip club, where Eric ends up getting into a fist fight with one of the dancers. When he wakes up in the morning, he realizes that he's lost his glasses and can't see a thing. This puts him in an extremely vulnerable position, especially around Donna, who he's now forced to rely on.
As the gang tries to help Eric find his missing glasses, they also try to figure out how to help him win Donna back. However, it seems like Eric may have finally moved on from their relationship. He starts to notice that one of his coworkers, Alison, has feelings for him, and he's starting to feel the same way. This puts Donna in a tough spot, as she realizes that she may have lost Eric for good.
The episode ends with several different storylines coming to a head. Eric finally finds his glasses, but not before Donna admits that she still has feelings for him. Kelso decides to break up with Annette after realizing that she's only using him for his money. And, after much deliberation, Eric decides to go on a date with Alison, signaling the end of his relationship with Donna.
Overall, "I Can See For Miles" is an emotional episode that centers around the complicated relationships between the characters. It showcases the struggles of moving on after a break-up, standing up for oneself in a relationship, and making difficult choices about one's future.
