The sixth season of That 70's Show starts off with an episode entitled "The Kids Are Alright." Fans of the show will be happy to see the return of all their favorite characters, with the gang getting up to their usual shenanigans.
The episode opens with Eric (played by Topher Grace) returning from his summer trip to Africa, where he has been volunteering with the Peace Corps. He is met at the airport by his girlfriend, Donna (played by Laura Prepon), as well as his dad Red (played by Kurtwood Smith) and his mom Kitty (played by Debra Jo Rupp).
As Eric settles back into life in Point Place, Wisconsin, he discovers that things have changed while he's been away. His best friend Kelso (played by Ashton Kutcher) has enlisted in the army and left town, while his other friends have all grown up and are dealing with some serious relationship drama.
Donna is struggling with her long-distance relationship with Eric, while Jackie (played by Mila Kunis) is torn between her boyfriend Hyde (played by Danny Masterson) and her former flame Kelso. Meanwhile, Fez (played by Wilmer Valderrama) is trying to navigate his first serious relationship, as he starts dating a girl named Nina (played by Joanna Canton).
The gang is also dealing with some new additions to their social circle. Eric's younger sister, Laurie (played by Lisa Robin Kelly), has returned to town after dropping out of college. She is looking for a fresh start and hoping to rekindle her relationship with Fez, who has always had a crush on her.
In addition, the gang has befriended a group of college students who are renting a house in their neighborhood. These new friends provide a source of conflict, as they are more sophisticated and mature than the high schoolers and sometimes make them feel immature and out of touch.
Overall, "The Kids Are Alright" sets the stage for an exciting season of That 70's Show. Fans can expect plenty of laughs, drama, and nostalgic fun as they follow the gang through their final year of high school and beyond. Whether you're a longtime fan or a first-time viewer, this episode is sure to leave you eager for more.
