Raven and Chelsea are excited for their school's upcoming science fair, but things take a turn when they are paired up with Eddie for a group project. Eddie, who Raven and Chelsea view as a bit of a nerd, is excited to finally have friends to work on the project with. However, Raven and Chelsea are embarrassed to be associated with him and try to distance themselves as much as possible.
As they work on their project, Raven has a vision that Eddie's project will win first place at the science fair. Initially, Raven tries to dismiss the vision and focus on her own project, but as the deadline approaches, she becomes more and more convinced that Eddie's project is going to win. Raven realizes that she is going to have to choose between helping Eddie make a winning project or sabotaging his efforts in order to protect her own reputation.
Meanwhile, Cory is also getting into the science fair spirit. He is determined to come up with a winning project of his own, but his mom's constant nagging about cleaning his room is getting in the way. In an effort to get some peace and quiet, Cory takes refuge in the basement, where he discovers that his dad has been secretly building a robot.
Cory is thrilled to discover the robot and decides to incorporate it into his science fair project. However, when the robot malfunctions and starts wreaking havoc on the house, Cory realizes that he may have made a mistake by not telling his dad about his project.
As the day of the science fair arrives, tensions are high between Raven and Chelsea as they struggle with their conflicting feelings about Eddie's project. Meanwhile, Cory desperately tries to fix the robot before anyone finds out about his secret project.
In the end, the science fair is filled with surprises as Raven comes to a realization about the importance of friendship and taking risks, and Cory learns the importance of honesty and communication with his family.
