Raven Baxter is a teenage girl who has the ability to see into the future. In season 2 episode 18 of That's So Raven, entitled "The Road to Audition," Raven, Chelsea and Eddie are extremely excited to hear that a famous rap star, Lil' Shorty, is holding a talent competition where the winner will get to open for him on his next big concert. Raven is especially keen on entering the competition, as she believes that she has what it takes to win.
However, there is just one problem: they have to find a way to get to the audition, which is being held in New York City, and they don't have enough money to buy plane tickets. After a bit of brainstorming, the trio comes up with the idea of taking a road trip to New York City in order to audition for the competition. Raven knows that she can't reveal her true identity and powers to Lil' Shorty, as he might think that she's crazy. So, she decides to use her acting skills to impress him.
The gang starts their journey to New York City, but they soon realize that it's not going to be easy. They face a number of obstacles along the way, including a run-in with a biker gang and a car breakdown. But they remain determined to reach their destination, no matter what.
As they near the audition venue, Raven begins to get extremely nervous. She worries that she may not be good enough to impress Lil' Shorty and win the competition. To calm her nerves, Chelsea suggests they all do some yoga.
Finally, the big day arrives and Raven is looking confident. She has spent countless hours practicing her routine and perfecting her performance. But when she gets up on stage to perform, her nerves get the best of her. She forgets the words to her song and starts to panic. But just when it seems like all hope is lost, Raven's friends jump up on stage to help her out. They start dancing and singing along with her, and soon the entire audience is on their feet.
Lil' Shorty is impressed with Raven's performance, but he's even more impressed with how she was able to work so well with her friends. He declares her the winner of the competition and invites her to join him on tour.
The gang is ecstatic at the news. They all hug each other and express their excitement at the prospect of going on tour together. Raven is especially happy that her friends were there to support her when she needed them the most.
In the end, Raven realizes that even though she has the ability to see into the future, there are some things that can't be predicted. She didn't know that her friends would be there to help her when she needed them, but she was glad that they were. Raven learned that she doesn't have to do everything alone and that her friends will always be there to support her, no matter what challenges she may face.
