The episode "No Need for Discussions!" is the first episode of the Tenchi Universe season one series. This episode introduces us to the main character, Tenchi Masaki, a young man living in rural Japan. We see him living a relatively quiet life with his grandfather and aunts, until one day, a spaceship unexpectedly crash-lands in his backyard.

The spaceship belongs to a beautiful woman named Ryoko. The spacecraft was damaged in a battle with another alien, and Ryoko is only barely able to control it as it crashes into the Masaki household. When Tenchi investigates the crash, he finds Ryoko, and the two begin a volatile fight. However, Tenchi quickly learns that being the only human able to stand up to Ryoko is an opportunity to show his bravery.

Soon after Tenchi and Ryoko's fight, new characters are introduced. Aida and Mihoshi, two space officers from the Galaxy Police arrive at the Masaki household in pursuit of Ryoko. They inform Tenchi and the other residents of the house that Ryoko is a space pirate who is dangerous and unpredictable. Sister Yosho, Tenchi's aunt, and older resident of the house, expel Aida and Mihoshi from the property after they attempt to persuade the family to relinquish Ryoko to them.

In the meantime, Ryoko recovers from her crash and begins creating havoc in the house with her unique abilities. From inducing magic to creating duplicate versions of herself, she uses her abilities to deceive and overpower others. Ryoko also reveals her origin as a former space pirate, which initially causes the other residents of the house to fear her, but after seeing her fighting skills, they begin to come around to her.

As the episode progresses, the residents of the house debate about what to do with Ryoko. Tenchi, who is clearly smitten with Ryoko, tries to defend Ryoko, while his aunt, Ayeka, is apprehensive about having Ryoko around, suspecting she has ill intentions. Ayeka warns the other members of the household about Ryoko's capabilities. However, Ryoko insists her intentions are pure and is determined to stay in the Masaki household for as long as she is injured.

The episode ends with a battle between Ryoko and Ayeka. Ryoko sees these actions as necessary to stay in the household where she has grown quite fond of Tenchi; Ayeka views it as a means of protecting the family. The battle ends with the arrival of another space police officer, Kiyone, and her partner, who informs them of their search for Ryoko.

Overall, the first episode of Tenchi Universe season one provides a great overview of the show and its cast of characters' unique skills and personalities. Viewers are introduced to several primary characters, including Tenchi, Ryoko, and Ayeka, and are given a peek into their personalities and motivations. This season's first episode sets the stage for the story's developments and builds anticipation for the upcoming events in the series.
