Ep 2. Here Comes Ayeka!

Tenchi Muyo! is an anime series that revolves around a young student named Tenchi Masaki, who discovers the existence of three alien women in his grandfather's shrine. Season 1 episode 2 is titled "Here Comes Ayeka!" and centers around the arrival of one of these alien women, Ayeka.

The tension between the two women is palpable, with Ryoko taunting Ayeka and Ayeka trying to maintain her composure, all while Katsuhito watches on.

As the episode progresses, it becomes clear that Ayeka is not all she seems. Her calm demeanor is marred by moments of hysteria when she is alone, and she seems to be haunted by something she witnessed or experienced in the past. On top of that, it is revealed that Ayeka's younger sister, Sasami, has gone missing and Ayeka has come to earth to try to track her down.

At one point, Ayeka attempts to leave the shrine and continue her search for Sasami alone. However, she is followed by Ryoko who confronts her in the forest. In the ensuing scuffle, Ayeka's spaceship is destroyed and she is forced to retreat back to the shrine.

As night falls, Ayeka and Ryoko continue their feud, with Ayeka revealing that she has the power to summon powerful energy beams from her hands. Just as things seem to be getting out of hand, a bizarre creature suddenly appears on the scene, throwing both Ayeka and Ryoko off balance. Chaos ensues as the creature wreaks havoc on the shrine and the surrounding area. Tenchi, Ryoko, and Ayeka are eventually able to band together to defeat the creature, although not without some help from Katsuhito.

The episode ends with Ayeka gratefully accepting Tenchi's offer to stay at the shrine until Sasami is found, and Katsuhito reflecting on the fact that their troubles have only just begun.
