Ep 8. The Freaks Come out at Night

In the eighth episode of season one of the 2003 adaptation of Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles, titled "The Freaks Come Out at Night," the Turtles find themselves in the middle of a war between two factions of mutants living in the sewers of New York City.

As the Turtles explore the sewers and get to know the mutant community, they begin to realize that there are more factions at play than just the Nightwatchers and the "good" mutants. They soon encounter a group of mutagen junkies who will do anything for a fix, as well as a group of mutant turtles who have been forced to work as enforcers for a powerful gangster named Hun.

Despite the challenges they face, the Turtles remain determined to find a way to unite all the mutants in the sewers and put a stop to the Nightwatchers' attacks. With the help of Leatherhead, Splinter, and the Street Phantoms, they begin to put a plan into action.

As they work to bring the different factions together, the Turtles learn valuable lessons about the importance of unity and acceptance. They come to realize that, despite their differences, all mutants have the same basic desires: to be accepted, to be loved, and to be free.
