Ep 4. Michelangelo Meets Mondo Gecko

In the fifth season of the popular animated series, Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles (1987), the turtles encounter a new ally in the form of Mondo Gecko. In episode 4, titled "Michelangelo Meets Mondo Gecko," Michelangelo stumbles upon Mondo Gecko while out on patrol one night.

Mondo Gecko is a teenage lizard who has the ability to walk on walls, cling to ceilings, and shoot his long prehensile tongue out like a grappling hook. Michelangelo is instantly intrigued by the new arrival and strikes up a conversation with him. The two quickly become friends and bond over their shared love of extreme sports and skateboarding.

However, not all is well in the city as the nefarious villain, Krang, has teamed up with a dangerous street gang, the Street Phantoms, to wreak havoc. Mondo Gecko is actually a former member of the gang, but has since reformed and left their ranks. When the Street Phantoms come looking for Mondo, the turtles step in to protect their new friend from harm.

Along the way, Michelangelo and Mondo Gecko form an even stronger bond as they work together to take down the Street Phantoms and put an end to Krang's latest scheme. Despite facing dangerous obstacles and fierce foes, the turtles and their new ally manage to emerge victorious.

Overall, episode 4 of season 5 of Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles (1987) brings plenty of action, adventure, and heartwarming moments to fans of the beloved series. As always, the turtles prove that they are willing to go to great lengths to protect their friends and the citizens of their city from harm.
