The show Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles (1987) follows a group of four mutated turtles who were trained in martial arts by their anthropomorphic rat sensei. In season 3, episode 3 titled "Attack of the 50 Foot Irma," the Turtles are faced with a new challenge.

In the end, the Turtles discover that Irma's illness was caused by exposure to a strange substance in the water, and they are able to find a way to reverse the effects of the exposure.
