In Teen Wolf season 3 episode 7, titled "Currents," the town of Beacon Hills is reeling from the aftermath of the recent lunar eclipse and the subsequent surge of supernatural activity. Scott and his pack are still on edge and trying to piece together what exactly happened during the eclipse, while new dangers continue to crop up.
This episode focuses on Lydia, the beautiful and whip-smart banshee who has been struggling with her newfound powers all season. After a terrifying vision of a killer in a house by the lake, Lydia enlists the help of Stiles and the rest of the pack to investigate.
As they begin to delve deeper into the mystery, they discover that the house by the lake is haunted by the spirits of the former residents, who were drowned in the lake years ago. Lydia's visions are the key to unraveling the truth behind their deaths, but as she gets closer to the truth, her own safety is put in jeopardy.
Meanwhile, Scott is dealing with his own problems as he tries to maintain his alpha status and keep his pack safe. A new threat arises in the form of a group of supernatural assassins known as the Oni, who are terrorizing the town and seem to be targeting werewolves specifically.
