Ep 8. Pushing the Limit

The results are emotional for Leah as it's confirmed that Ali has a rare form of muscular dystrophy. This news adds additional stress to Leah's already challenging life as a young mother.

The third mom, Chelsea, is dealing with the aftermath of her ex-boyfriend Adam's car accident. Adam was driving under the influence and the accident has left him with serious injuries. Chelsea worries about how this will affect their daughter Aubree's relationship with her father. She also has concerns about Adam's ability to provide financial support for their daughter given his medical bills and inability to work.

Lastly, Jenelle is also dealing with a difficult relationship with her volatile boyfriend, Kieffer. In this episode, Jenelle reveals that she's been using drugs and argues with Kieffer about her habit. She also faces legal trouble after being arrested for breaking and entering. Jenelle's mother, Barbara, attempts to intervene and get Jenelle back on the right track, but Jenelle continues to struggle with her addiction and turbulent relationship.

Throughout the episode, each of the young mothers is faced with their own difficult decisions and challenges.
