Ep 5. Super Trip to the Supermarket

Team Umizoomi season 1 episode 5 is called "Super Trip to the Supermarket."

The episode begins with Milli, Geo, and Bot playing in the park when they receive a call from Umi City's resident superhero, Super Soap. Super Soap tells them that there is a big problem at the supermarket and he needs their help. The three friends hop into their Umi Car and head to the supermarket to find out what's going on.

He explains that he was supposed to be keeping an eye on the shopping carts, but he was distracted by a pesky villain named The Troublemaker. The Troublemaker snuck into the supermarket and caused chaos by mixing up all the labels and prices. Now, nobody knows what anything costs and chaos has ensued.

The team splits up to search for clues and try to make sense of the mess. Milli heads to the produce section to try to figure out the prices of fruits and vegetables, while Bot goes to the snack aisle to sort out the prices of chips and candy. Meanwhile, Geo tries to figure out the price of a giant inflatable ball that has come loose and is bouncing around the store.

Throughout the episode, the team uses their math skills to help solve the problems they encounter. They measure the weight of fruit with a scale, count the number of candy bars in a box, and even use a shopping list as a tool to figure out the cost of items in the store.

As the team makes progress, they encounter The Troublemaker, who tries to disrupt their efforts once again. But with the help of Super Soap, they are able to stop him and restore order to the supermarket.

At the end of the episode, the grateful manager of the supermarket thanks the team for their help and rewards them with a lifetime supply of groceries. The episode ends with the team driving off in their Umi Car, singing a song about how much they love math and helping others.
