Ep 1. Be-wilderness

Team Kaylie is a Netflix original series that follows the life of Kaylie Konrad, a famous teenage celebrity influencer who finds herself in a rather odd predicament. Following a minor misadventure, Kaylie is given the ultimatum to either complete 200 hours of community service or risk losing her fortune and her freedom.

In the first episode titled "Be-wilderness," Kaylie is sent to the wilderness with her trusty "glam squad" and her community service partner, a 10-year-old girl named Amber. The group is tasked with connecting with nature and learning valuable survival skills. However, Kaylie is not initially pleased with the idea and can't seem to get past the fact that her phone doesn't have service and she is unable to update her social media followers on the latest happenings of her life.

As they journey through the wilderness, the group faces various challenges and obstacles. The group must band together to complete challenges such as building a shelter, catching fish and finding water. Kaylie shows reluctance and lack of interest in these activities, often causing tension between her and her group members.

Throughout the episode, we see Kaylie struggle with disconnecting from her usual life and adapting to her new situation. We get to see the character's personality develop as she is pushed out of her comfort zone and forced to confront her insecurities.

The episode is an excellent introduction to the show, displaying the unique personality of each character. It shows us Kaylie's strengths and weaknesses, with her character becoming more likable towards the end as she begins to open up and interact positively with her group.

The episode is well written, and the chemistry between cast members is engaging and shows satisfactory advancement in the storyline. Team Kaylie offers a fun, new perspective on the nature of social media fame and its impacts on people's mental health. It's a show that will leave you with important life lessons and a ton of laughs – an enjoyable watch for everyone.
