Tarzan season 1 episode 2: Tarzan and the Silent Child

In this episode of Tarzan, we see our protagonist in his usual element - swinging through the jungle, communing with the animals, and generally living his best life as the king of the jungle. However, things take a turn when Tarzan comes across a small child who seems to have lost her voice.

The episode opens with Tarzan going about his business, hunting and gathering and generally enjoying his freedom in the untamed wilderness. However, his attention is caught by a strange sound - a child crying in the distance. He follows the sound until he comes across a small girl, perhaps three or four years old, who is clearly distressed. Tarzan tries to communicate with her, but it soon becomes clear that she is unable to speak. She seems to have been abandoned or lost in the jungle, and Tarzan takes it upon himself to care for her until he can figure out what to do with her.

As the episode progresses, Tarzan seeks help from various sources in the jungle - a kind and wise baboon, a tribe of native people who live deep in the jungle, and even some friendly elephants. However, nobody seems to know anything about the little girl, or why she has lost her voice. Tarzan becomes increasingly worried for her safety, and even begins to suspect foul play from some of the more hostile animals in the jungle.

Throughout the episode, we see Tarzan's compassion and empathy in action, as he cares for the child and tries to help her find her voice. It's a touching portrayal of his gentle side, which is often overshadowed by his physical prowess and wildness. We also get a glimpse of the deep connections Tarzan has with the animals around him, as he enlists their help in his search.

The climax of the episode comes when Tarzan finally finds out what has happened to the little girl. I won't spoil the surprise here, but suffice it to say that it's a heart-wrenching revelation that highlights the harsh realities of life in the jungle.

Overall, Tarzan and the Silent Child is a poignant and touching episode that showcases Tarzan's softer side. It's a reminder that even the strongest and wildest among us can have a deep capacity for love and compassion. The episode also highlights some of the dangers and challenges that come with living in the jungle - not just for humans, but for all creatures great and small.
