Tarzan season 1 episode 11, titled "Tarzan and the Orphan," follows the adventure of Tarzan and his friends Jane and Paul as they rescue an orphaned boy named Tiko from a group of ruthless hunters.
The episode begins with Tarzan and his friends, who are on a safari, stumbling upon a group of hunters. They discover that the hunters are after an elephant and move quickly to stop them. During the confrontation, they discover that Tiko, a young boy, is amongst the hunters' group as a captive. Tiko's mother, who was also a captive, had died after giving birth to him. The hunters had kept him with them to use him as a tracker for hunting.
Tarzan's group decides to rescue Tiko and bring him with them. However, when they try to leave, the hunters find them and chase them through the jungle. Tarzan, with his unmatched agility and strength, successfully fends off the hunters and helps his friends escape.
As they continue their journey, the group realizes that Tiko is a natural tracker and can guide them through the jungle quickly. They come across difficult terrains that they would not have been able to navigate without Tiko's help.
Meanwhile, the hunters are not giving up and are on their trail, determined to take Tiko back. They set up traps and ambushes to capture Tiko and his friends but every time they are unsuccessful.
While on the journey, Jane and Paul form a strong bond with Tiko, who had never experienced kindness before. They teach him to speak English and good manners, while Tarzan teaches him survival skills. They react with awe as Tiko unveils his unique connection with the jungle and animals.
As the group advances towards their destination, they realize that the hunters have blocked their path. Tarzan decides to create a diversion, allowing Jane, Paul, and Tiko to escape. Tarzan takes on the hunters head-on, showcasing his impressive fighting and survival skills. Eventually, Tarzan smashes their operation, and they leave, leaving the hunters vanquished.
The episode concludes as Tarzan, Jane, Paul, and Tiko continue on their journey, in a much more relaxed atmosphere as they have gained confidence in their new found companion, and the relationship between Tarzan, who is protective and loving of children, and the young Tiko deepens further still.
