Ep 1. Trick or Treat

In the season one premiere of Tales from the Darkside, titled "Trick or Treat," we follow a young boy named Timmy who is out trick-or-treating on Halloween night with his friend. As they wander through the neighborhood, they come across an elderly couple's house that is seemingly abandoned. Despite his friend's protests, Timmy convinces him to go up and knock on the door, hoping to score some extra candy.

But things quickly take a turn for the spooky when the couple, Mr. and Mrs. Killup, answer the door and invite the boys inside. The couple is strange and unsettling, with Mrs. Killup offering them strange and unappetizing treats to eat while Mr. Killup tells them creepy stories about tricksters and goblins.

As the night wears on, it becomes clear that Timmy and his friend may have made a grave mistake in coming to the Killups' house. Strange and terrifying things begin to happen, and the boys realize too late that they may be in grave danger. Will they be able to escape the clutches of the sinister couple before it's too late?

"Trick or Treat" is a classic horror tale that perfectly captures the eerie and unsettling feeling of Halloween night. The episode is full of spooky imagery and creepy atmosphere, and the performances by the actors playing the Killups are chillingly convincing.
