A young woman named Samantha (played by Traci Lords) finds herself stranded on a deserted road after her car breaks down. She is eventually rescued by a man named Mr. Garrity (played by Tom Wright), who offers her a place to stay for the night. Samantha begins to feel uneasy when she notices the odd behavior of her host, who seems to be hiding something. Despite her reservations, Samantha decides to spend the night at his secluded farmhouse.
As the night progresses, Samantha becomes increasingly disturbed by the strange occurrences in the house. She hears strange noises and sees unusual shadows moving about. She also discovers a locked room in the house that Mr. Garrity refuses to open. Eventually, Samantha begins to suspect that Mr. Garrity may be a dangerous criminal.
