Two professional gamblers named Reno Crevice and Sam Forney meet in a deserted saloon in the middle of nowhere. The two men have an intense and bitter rivalry that has existed for years. They decide to settle their feud once and for all by playing a high-stakes game of poker. The winner takes all, including the other's life.
The two men are evenly matched, and as the game progresses, the tension between them builds. They are both determined to win at any cost, and as the pot grows, so does the danger. The saloon owner, Hacker, watches the game with fascination, hoping that he will be the one to collect the winnings.
As the game wears on, Reno and Sam grow increasingly desperate. They are both on the brink of losing everything, and neither man is willing to give up. Eventually, they decide to settle the game with a dangerous and deadly twist - each man will cut off one of his own fingers with a meat cleaver, and the one who cuts off the lowest finger will lose and be killed.
The game takes a gruesome turn as the two men embark on this deadly gamble, and the tension in the room becomes unbearable. Both men are willing to do whatever it takes to win, and the outcome is uncertain until the very end. In the end, however, only one man will come out on top, and the other will pay the ultimate price.
