Take Away My Takeaway was a British television show that aired on Channel 4 in 2007. The show was presented by radio presenter Dave Berry and aimed to educate the British public on the impact of fast food on their health, as well as offering tips on how to cook healthy versions of their favorite takeaways.

Each episode of the show was dedicated to a specific type of takeaway cuisine, such as Chinese or Indian, and featured Berry visiting families around the UK who were regular consumers of that cuisine. He would quiz them on their eating habits and then take them on a culinary journey to learn about the origins of the food they loved and how it was made.

Throughout the show, Berry also visited takeaway restaurants and spoke to chefs, often in their native countries, to find out more about the ingredients and cooking techniques used to make their dishes. Armed with this knowledge, he then devised healthy alternatives to the most popular dishes from that cuisine.

In addition to the educational aspect of the show, Take Away My Takeaway also had a competition element. Each week, a family was chosen to take part in a cook-off to see who could make the healthiest and tastiest version of a popular dish from that cuisine. The winning family received a prize of
