Swift and Shift Couriers is an Australian television comedy series that revolves around the daily struggles of a courier company, Swift and Shift Couriers, in the fictional suburb of Courier Avenue. The show satirizes the Australian culture, bureaucracy, and office politics through its colorful and quirky characters.

In season 1 episode 2 titled The Polar Bear Suit, the audience is introduced to some of the shortcomings of the company manager, Keith Warne. It's Christmas time, and Warne finds an opportunity to reward the employee with the most excellent performance by dressing up as Santa Claus and handing out gifts to the staff.

However, things don't go as planned. The best employee of the month, Mario Gorgonzola, is absent as he is on a Secret Santa run. Secret Santa is a task that Gorgonzola takes very seriously, and it involves delivering presents to needy children dressed up as Santa Claus.

On the other hand, the worst employee of the month, Keith's nephew Kieran, is present, and Warne makes him Secret Santa, assuring him that he will be rewarded if he performs well. Kieran is not interested in making the deliveries and is more focused on chasing his love interest, Gloria O'Malley, one of the couriers in the company.

As expected, Kieran is not successful in his task, and eventually, Warne decides to take matters into his own hands. He plans to deliver the presents himself, but his plans are foiled when he accidentally breaks his hip while wearing a polar bear suit. The polar bear suit was a part of his Santa Claus getup and was supposed to be worn by Kieran.

The polar bear suit injury brings in a new character into the mix, Joel, a paramedic who's been recently employed by Swift and Shift Couriers. Joel turns out to be quite a useful addition to the company as Warne's injury prompts him to appoint Joel as the company's safety officer.

Meanwhile, Mario finally returns from his Secret Santa run, dressed in his Santa Claus attire, and is surprised to find Keith Warne lying on the ground with a broken hip. Mario takes charge and performs a first aid on Warne, who is then taken to the hospital. During the commotion, Kieran decides to take advantage of the situation and delivers the remaining presents, hoping to redeem himself.

The episode ends on a cliffhanger with Warne being hospitalized, and Joel being appointed as the safety officer for the company.

The Polar Bear Suit episode is a perfect example of the show's humor and satire. The characters are over the top and often make poor decisions, leading to hilarious moments. The episode also sheds light on the importance of safety in the workplace and the consequences of not taking it seriously.

Overall, The Polar Bear Suit episode is a fun watch that will leave the audience in stitches.
