Welcome to Swift & Shift! This first episode of the Australian comedy series follows the antics of the titular courier company as they navigate the daily challenges of delivering packages across the city.

We are introduced to the various employees of Swift & Shift, including the hapless, bumbling boss Keith Warne (played by creator Paul Fenech), his hard-working assistant Amanda (Amanda Keller), and the motley crew of couriers who are more interested in their own drama than getting the job done.

As the episode starts, it's clear that Swift & Shift is not exactly the model of efficiency - packages are lost, delivered to the wrong address, or left in ridiculous locations (like inside a toilet or on top of a fence). It's also clear that Keith is not exactly the most competent boss, spending most of his time lounging around the office and bickering with Amanda.

Things come to a head when an important courier job goes wrong - Keith mistakenly assigns the wrong package to a courier, and chaos ensues as the courier attempts to deliver it to various incorrect addresses. Meanwhile, other couriers are dealing with their own problems - Tahlia is dealing with an abusive ex, while Mario is facing car troubles and a difficult client.

As the day wears on, the chaos only increases - couriers run into traffic accidents, get lost, or simply disappear altogether. Amidst the madness, Keith and Amanda try to keep things under control - or at least, pretend that they're on top of things.

Despite the many setbacks and mishaps, the episode ends with a vague sense of hope - for all their flaws, the crew of Swift & Shift are a resilient bunch, and somehow manage to get at least some of their deliveries done. And even amidst the chaos, there are moments of humor and camaraderie that suggest this dysfunctional courier company might just have a chance at success after all.

Overall, Welcome to Swift & Shift is a fast-paced, raunchy comedy that revels in the absurdity of the courier world. While it's not for everyone, fans of Fenech's other work (such as the similarly wild SBS series Pizza) will likely find plenty to enjoy here.
