In Swat Kats: The Radical Squadron season 1 episode 5, titled The Metallikats, the city of Megakat City is under attack from a duo of robotic villains known as the Metallikats. The Swat Kats must team up with their former ally, Callie Briggs, to stop the evil robots before they cause too much destruction.
As the episode begins, the Metallikats are wreaking havoc on Megakat City, tearing through buildings and causing chaos in the streets. The police are unable to stop them on their own, so Callie Briggs turns to the Swat Kats for help.
The Swat Kats, Jake Clawson and Chance Furlong, are reluctant to get involved at first. They have a history with the Metallikats, who used to be their partners in crime before they turned to villainy. However, when they see the destruction that the robots are causing, they agree to help out.
With the help of Callie Briggs, the Swat Kats are able to track down the Metallikats to a nearby junkyard. They engage in a fierce battle, with the robots proving to be formidable opponents. The Metallikats are equipped with advanced weapons and are able to absorb and reflect the Swat Kats' attacks.
As the battle rages on, the Swat Kats begin to suspect that there may be someone else controlling the Metallikats. They manage to disable the robots and take them back to their garage for further analysis.
Through their investigation, the Swat Kats discover that the Metallikats were controlled by a criminal mastermind known as Mac Mange. Mac Mange used to be partners with the Swat Kats when they were all part of a notorious gang, but he turned on them and was sent to prison. Now, he is seeking revenge.
With this new information, the Swat Kats and Callie Briggs set out to track down Mac Mange. They eventually find him hiding out in a secret base, where he has been working on creating an even more powerful army of robots.
The Swat Kats engage in another fierce battle with Mac Mange and his robots, but this time they are able to come out on top. They destroy the robots and apprehend Mac Mange, bringing him to justice for his crimes.
In the end, the Swat Kats are hailed as heroes for stopping the Metallikats and Mac Mange. Callie Briggs thanks them for their bravery and offers to work with them in the future if they ever need her help.
