Ep 10. Rival

In Suzuka season 1 episode 10, titled "Rival," the tensions between Yamato and his friend-turned-rival Arima reach an all-time high. As they prepare to face each other in the upcoming track meet, both Yamato and Arima are determined to come out on top.

After Yamato takes a hard fall during the high jump, it is Arima who comes to his aid, helping him to get back on his feet. In that moment, Yamato realizes that their rivalry had become toxic and that, ultimately, they were both just trying to be the best version of themselves.
