Ep 22. Employee Appreciation Day

Employee Appreciation Day is the twenty-second episode of the fourth season of Superstore. The episode starts with the store employees gathering in the break room, talking about what they are going to do for Employee Appreciation Day. Everyone has different ideas, from a parade to free massages, but the store's manager, Glenn, is determined to make it a great day for everyone. As the day progresses, the employees start to get frustrated because they feel like they aren't being appreciated enough.

Mateo, who has been working at the store for a long time without any recognition, is especially upset. He feels like he deserves more than what he is getting, and starts to lash out at the other employees. Jonah tries to talk to Mateo and get him to calm down, but he just gets more upset. Eventually, Glenn tells Mateo that he is going to give him a promotion, and Mateo is finally happy.

Meanwhile, Dina is trying to make the day special for Garrett, who has been getting over a break-up. She decides to organize a scavenger hunt for him, but she accidentally makes it too difficult. Garrett starts to get frustrated, but Dina finally reveals that the prize for winning the scavenger hunt is a trip to Paris. Garrett is overjoyed, and the two of them end up sharing a kiss.

Amy is also having a tough time because she is trying to balance work and home life. She is struggling to make it to her daughter's school event, and is feeling guilty about it. However, she has a breakthrough when she realizes that she can bring her daughter to work with her. Her daughter ends up having a great time, and Amy feels like she has finally found a way to balance everything.

The episode ends with the employees gathered in the store's parking lot, watching a fireworks display. They all feel appreciated and happy, and are already looking forward to next year's Employee Appreciation Day.
