Ep 18. Mateo's Last Day

Mateo, the hardworking and ambitious employee of Cloud 9, is facing his last day before he is taken into custody by ICE. As he tries to keep up appearances and keep his impending departure a secret from his colleagues, he soon realizes that he cannot endure the pressure any longer.

The episode begins with Jonah and Amy uncovering Mateo's illegal status in the United States. Though they are shocked and saddened by the revelation, they offer their support to Mateo, who is now working tirelessly on his final day. Mateo, however, is determined to keep his secret from his colleagues, fearing that he will be judged or even worse, turned in.
