In this episode of Supersize vs Superskinny season 2, we meet Keith and Tiffany, who are struggling with their extreme body sizes.
Keith is a 29-year-old father of two who weighs over 400 pounds. He has tried numerous diets and even underwent gastric bypass surgery, but still struggles with his weight. He feels that his weight is holding him back from being the best father and husband he can be.
Tiffany, on the other hand, is a 22-year-old college student who is severely underweight, weighing under 100 pounds. She admits to being afraid of food and has a limited diet of only fruits and vegetables. Tiffany is concerned about her health and wants to gain weight in a healthy and sustainable way.
As usual, Dr. Christian Jessen and Anna Richardson are on hand to help these two individuals with their eating habits. They first start with Keith, who is shocked to see the amount of junk food he is consuming on a daily basis. With Dr. Christian's guidance, he is able to learn about healthy food choices and portion control. Dr. Christian also advises Keith to start strength training to build muscle and help burn fat.
Next up is Tiffany, who is challenged to try new and calorie-dense foods that she has been avoiding. She struggles at first, but with Anna’s encouragement, she is able to expand her diet and start gaining weight in a healthy way.
Throughout the episode, we see the two individuals participate in various challenges that put their new healthy habits to the test. One such challenge involves Keith cooking a healthy meal for his family, while another has Tiffany trying out new foods with her friends at a restaurant.
At the end of the episode, both Keith and Tiffany are shown to have made progress in their journeys towards a healthier lifestyle.
