Ep 11. Family Remains

Sam and Dean Winchester investigate a haunting in a deserted farmhouse. The owner of the farmhouse tells the brothers that strange things have been happening there, including objects moving on their own and strange noises, and she is scared for her life. The brothers discover evidence of a grisly murder and they realize that the family who used to live there never actually left. The brothers have to use all of their skills to try to figure out how to rid the farmhouse of the ghosts haunting it and protect the family who owns the property. As they dig deeper into the history of the farmhouse, they discover a dark secret about the family that once lived there and what they were willing to do to protect their own. The brothers are forced to confront the possibility that there may be no happy endings for some families, and protecting the living can sometimes mean sacrificing the dead.
