Ep 10. Dream A Little Dream Of Me

Sam and Dean Winchester investigate a series of mysterious deaths, all of which were caused by the victims dying in their sleep. While researching the case, the brothers discover that the people who died were all plagued by nightmares, and that a powerful and ancient sorceress named Bela Talbot is involved.

As they delve deeper into the case, Sam begins to experience intense nightmares himself, which start to seem more and more real. He eventually falls victim to the same mysterious death that they have been investigating, leaving Dean to solve the case alone.

Desperate to save his brother, Dean seeks out the help of Bobby Singer, an old family friend and expert in the supernatural. Bobby tells Dean about a powerful talisman called the "Brazen Bull", which is said to protect its wearer from sorcery and demonic possession. Bobby warns Dean that the talisman is extremely dangerous and will corrupt anyone who wears it, but Dean is willing to take the risk in order to save his brother.

With the talisman in hand, Dean tracks down Bela and confronts her. She reveals that she had been using a powerful spell to enter people's dreams and control them, but that her attempts to do the same to Sam had failed due to his strong will. As they fight, Dean manages to slip the talisman around Bela's neck, rendering her powerless.

Dean races back to Sam's bedside, where he manages to revive him by pulling him out of his own nightmare. The brothers reflect on their close call, but know that there will always be more evil to fight. The episode ends with the brothers driving off into the night, ready for their next adventure.
