The episode of Supernatural season 13 titled "Children Shouldn't Play with Dead Things" follows Sam and Dean Winchester as they investigate a case in a small town where a girl named Angela had recently died and been buried. However, Angela's grave has been disturbed and her body is missing.
The Winchesters arrive in town to investigate and meet Angela's friends, who are all involved in a theater group. The group had recently put on a production of the play "Children Shouldn't Play with Dead Things," which is about raising the dead. The Winchesters suspect that someone in the group may have raised Angela from the dead.
As they continue to investigate, the brothers discover that the theater group leader, Jay, is obsessed with the idea of raising the dead. He had convinced Angela's friend, Neil, to help him raise her from the dead in order to prove that it could be done. However, when Angela returned from the dead, she wasn't quite the same. She was aggressive and violent, and seemed to have lost all sense of herself.
The Winchesters realize that they need to stop Angela before she hurts anyone else. They set a trap for her in the theater, but their plan backfires when Angela brings the entire theater group back from the dead. The zombies are now loose in the town, attacking anyone in their path.
Sam and Dean are forced to fight off the zombies while trying to figure out how to stop the resurrection spell. They eventually discover that the spell requires a sacrifice of a living person, and Jay had planned on sacrificing Neil in order to complete the spell. The Winchesters are able to stop Jay before he can go through with it, and they destroy the spell, sending the zombies back to the grave.
In the end, the Winchesters are able to save the town from the zombie uprising, but they are left with the realization that raising the dead is not something to be taken lightly. Children shouldn't play with dead things.
