In season 4, episode 11 of Supernanny, the Tafoya family is introduced. The parents, Nino and Becky, are struggling to keep their five children under control. The children's ages range from five to fifteen and their behavior is causing chaos in the household. Supernanny arrives at the Tafoya home and is immediately met with resistance from the children, who are used to doing whatever they want.

The oldest child, a fifteen-year-old boy named Caleb, is the biggest troublemaker in the family. He is disrespectful to his parents and siblings, and often talks back to them. Caleb's behavior has escalated to the point where he has even physically threatened his father. Supernanny recognizes that Caleb's behavior is a result of his parents failing to set firm boundaries and consequences.

The other children in the family are also in need of discipline. The three middle children, a set of triplets, are extremely hyperactive. They are constantly yelling and running around the house. The youngest child, a five-year-old girl named Mia, is the only girl in the family. She is prone to fits of rage and refuses to listen to her parents.

Supernanny starts by giving the parents a set of rules that they must enforce. Nino and Becky are hesitant at first, but they quickly realize that they need to make some changes in order to get their household under control. Supernanny teaches the parents how to use the Naughty Step technique to discipline their children. The Naughty Step is a time-out area where the children are sent to sit for a specific amount of time, depending on their age and behavior.

Supernanny also introduces the parents to the Thought Box technique. The Thought Box is a place where the children can write down their thoughts and feelings about their behavior. This helps the children to understand why their behavior is wrong and teaches them to take responsibility for their actions.

Throughout the episode, Supernanny works with each child individually to address their specific issues. She helps Caleb to understand that his behavior is unacceptable and shows him how to communicate with his parents in a respectful manner. She works with the triplets to channel their energy in more positive ways, like playing outside and getting exercise. She helps Mia to control her outbursts and teaches her to express her feelings in a constructive way.

By the end of the episode, the Tafoya family has made significant progress. The parents are more confident in their ability to enforce rules and discipline their children. Caleb has shown significant improvement in his behavior and is communicating with his parents in a more respectful manner. The triplets are calmer and more focused, and Mia is able to express her feelings without having tantrums.

Supernanny has helped the Tafoya family to establish structure and discipline in their household. The parents are now able to provide a safe and stable environment for their children. The Tafoya family is a testament to the power of discipline and positive reinforcement.
