Ep 19. The Hand of Fate

Superman: The Animated Series is an American animated television series based on DC Comics' flagship character, Superman. The show is produced by Warner Bros. Animation and aired from 1996 to 2000. Superman meets the caretaker of the artifacts, an old lady named Jennifer, who takes pride in taking care of the powerful artifacts. Jennifer tells Superman of the artifact's true nature and warns him of the danger of using it, saying that it was not meant for human hands.

Superman, however, decides to use it to fight against Karkull, thinking that the artifact can help him defeat his enemy. Karkull eventually makes it to the location, revealing his true intentions to absorb the powers of the artifact to rule the world. A fight ensues between Superman and Karkull at the site of the artifact. After a fierce battle, Superman is able to prove himself more powerful than Karkull and defeats him.

In the end, Superman decides not to use the artifact again, giving it back to Jennifer. Superman comes to the realization that the artifact is too powerful for any person to possess and that it should remain hidden away.

Overall, "The Hand of Fate" is yet another example of the action-packed and thrilling moments in the Superman: The Animated Series. This episode highlights the mystic side of the Superman universe and adds a whole new element to the series.
