This leads her to investigate a laboratory, where she discovers a dangerous secret experiment that could have disastrous consequences for the city. However, her probing into the lab attracts unwanted attention from both the authorities and the shadowy forces behind the hack on Lena Luthor.
With the help of her friends at the Department of Extranormal Operations (DEO), Kara must use all her reporting skills and her superpowers to uncover the truth and prevent a catastrophe. Along the way, she also receives guidance from her mentor, Cat Grant, who teaches her a valuable lesson about balancing her personal and professional life.
As the situation spirals out of control, Kara finds herself faced with some tough ethical dilemmas. She must decide whether to prioritize the greater good or the safety of the people closest to her.
