Ep 5. Naaman and the Servant Girl

Naaman, the commander of the king of Aram's army, is a great and mighty man, but he is also suffering from leprosy. In Superbook season 3 episode 5, entitled "Naaman and the Servant Girl," Chris, Joy, and Gizmo journey back in time to witness the story of Naaman and the servant girl.

The episode begins with Chris, Joy, and Gizmo watching a news report about a pandemic affecting people all over the world. Suddenly they are transported back in time to the land of Israel, where they meet a young servant girl who has been taken from her home and is now serving Naaman's wife. Naaman is skeptical that such a simple act will cure him of his affliction, but his servant persuades him to give it a try. Naaman begrudgingly follows Elisha's instructions and his leprosy is completely healed.

Through this story, Chris, Joy, and Gizmo learn about the power of faith and trust in God. They witness firsthand how God works in mysterious ways to bring about healing and transformation. The episode ends with the children returning to the present day with a newfound appreciation for the power of faith and hope in difficult times.
