Super Wings season 3 episode 6, titled "Hot Spring Helpers," follows the adventures of Jett, a young and adventurous plane who is always ready to help those in need. In this episode, Jett travels to Japan to assist his friend Aki and her family in preparing their hot springs resort for the upcoming tourist season.
As Jett arrives in Japan, he is excited to see Aki and her family once again. They greet each other with warm smiles and excited hugs before getting down to business. Aki's family owns a beautiful hot springs resort in the mountains, and they want to make sure everything is perfect for the tourists who will be visiting soon.
Jett is eager to help out, and he quickly gets to work. He uses his robotic arm to fix broken tiles in the hot springs, and then he helps Aki's grandmother, Oba-chan, clean the bathhouses. As he works, Jett learns about the importance of hot springs in Japanese culture and how they are believed to have healing properties.
After the bathhouses are clean, Aki's grandfather, Ji-chan, takes Jett on a tour of the resort. They go through the gardens, where Ji-chan points out the different plants and flowers that grow in the area. They also visit the kitchen, where Jett helps prepare a traditional Japanese meal for the tourists.
As the day comes to a close, Jett is exhausted but happy with all the work he has done. He settles in for a good night's sleep, but he is woken up in the middle of the night by a loud noise. When Jett investigates, he discovers that the hot springs have suddenly stopped flowing.
Jett alerts Aki and her family, and they all rush to the hot springs to investigate. What they discover is surprising – a family of monkeys has built a dam in the river, which has caused the hot springs to stop flowing. Aki's family knows they need to remove the dam quickly so that the tourists won't be disappointed.
Jett comes up with a plan to remove the dam using a device he saw in the kitchen earlier that day – bamboo sticks. After gathering as many sticks as they can find, Jett and Aki's family work together to dismantle the dam. It's hard work, but eventually, they are successful, and the hot springs once again begin to flow.
With the hot springs flowing again, Aki's family is relieved. They thank Jett for his hard work and invite him to stay at the resort a little while longer to enjoy the hot springs and relax. Jett happily accepts, realizing that he has made some new friends and learned valuable lessons about teamwork and perseverance.
