Super Wings is an animated series aimed at young audience. The show revolves around the adventures of a team of flying vehicles with unique abilities who are always ready to help out anywhere in the world. In this particular episode, entitled “Loch Ness on Ice”, the Super Wings team visit Scotland to help a young girl called Isla who is facing a unique problem.
Isla lives near Loch Ness, a world-famous Scottish lake known for its mythical monster, Nessie. The lake is frozen solid, and Isla's father has been asked to create an incredible ice sculpture for the annual winter festival. Everything is going well until their ice sculpture suddenly begins to move on its own, leaving the villagers confused and frightened.
Isla, who believes in the existence of Nessie, thinks she has finally caught a glimpse of her beloved monster. She follows the trail of footprints left in the snow and ice to investigate. That's where the Super Wings come in! They get the call and quickly fly to the scene to help her solve the mystery of the moving ice sculpture.
As they investigate the footprints, Dizzy discovers that they are not animal tracks at all, but rather the marks left behind by a remote-controlled vehicle. After Jett and Dizzy follow the tire tracks left in the snow, they come across a hidden underground lair where a villainous skier has been using the remote control device to move the ice sculpture for his own entertainment.
The skier had built a complex system of tunnels beneath the lake, which he had been using for years to store stolen goods. Now, he had been using the tunnels to move the ice sculpture to scare the villagers away and make it easier for him to continue his criminal activities.
The Super Wings team quickly devise a plan to take down the bad guy. With the help of a giant ice-breaking machine, they break through the thick ice of the lake and enter the criminal's underground lair. The skier attempts to escape through one of the tunnels, but Jett and Astra are hot on his tracks!
Ultimately, the Super Wings thwart the skier's evil plan, free the stolen goods, and help Isla's father create an incredible ice sculpture for the winter festival. The episode ends with Jett and the Super Wings flying back to their home base with a sense of satisfaction in knowing that they have helped make the world a safer place, once again.
