When a little girl in Tokyo misplaces her mother's handbag, the Super Wings are called in to help solve the mystery and find the missing bag. Jett and Donnie team up with a junior detective named Koji to investigate the case and follow a series of clues that lead them all around the city.
They start by visiting the last place the handbag was seen, a busy shopping district filled with people and bustling activity. With Koji's help, Jett and Donnie interview witnesses and gather information about what happened. They learn that the handbag was left on a bench outside a store, but when the mother came back to retrieve it, it was gone.
As they continue their investigation, the team discovers a possible suspect in the form of a mischievous cat who has been stealing items from people all over the neighborhood. Jett and Donnie follow the cat's trail and eventually find the handbag, hidden in a nearby alley. But when they try to take it back to the girl, they realize that the cat has run off with the wallet inside.
Determined to not let the culprit get away, the team sets out to catch the cat and retrieve the stolen wallet. With Koji's knowledge of the city and his street smarts, they track the cat to a construction site where they find it playing with the wallet like a toy.
Jett and Donnie come up with a plan to lure the cat away from the wallet, but when it doesn't work, they decide to use their Super Wings powers to distract the cat while Koji sneaks up and retrieves the wallet. With the wallet safely back in their possession, Jett and Donnie deliver it to the grateful mother and daughter and solve the case of the missing handbag.
Throughout the episode, Koji proves himself to be a skilled and resourceful detective, impressing the Super Wings with his abilities. He also shows them the importance of not giving up and using their brains to solve problems, something he learned from his own hero, his grandfather who is a retired detective.
In the end, Jett and the Super Wings say goodbye to Koji, but not without promising to work with him again someday. As they fly off into the sunset, the importance of teamwork and friendship is emphasized once again, leaving younger viewers with a valuable lesson to take away.
