In episode 5 of Super Sentai Zyuranger, titled "Scary Riddles," the Rangers find themselves up against a new foe, Dora Sphinx. The episode begins with the Rangers relaxing in the park, when suddenly they are attacked by Dora Sphinx and her minions. The Sphinx tells the Rangers she has a riddle for them, and if they can't solve it, their friend Boi will be turned to stone. The Sphinx's minions then grab Boi and run off, leaving the Rangers to try and solve the riddle.
The riddle is about a man who has to transport a wolf, a sheep, and a head of lettuce across a river, but he can only take one at a time and can't leave either the wolf and the sheep or the sheep and the lettuce alone together on one side of the river. The Rangers have to figure out how to get all three items across the river without any of them being eaten or destroyed.
The Rangers split up to try and solve the riddle, but they are all stumped. Meanwhile, Dora Sphinx is watching from afar and gloating about her victory. However, the Rangers refuse to give up and keep trying to solve the riddle. Finally, they come up with a solution that involves taking the sheep and the lettuce across the river first, then taking the wolf across while leaving the sheep on the other side. Finally, they go back and get the sheep, successfully transporting all three items across the river.
With the riddle solved, Dora Sphinx is defeated and Boi is saved. However, the Sphinx uses her magic to turn Boi's stuffed animal into a monster, called Dora Ladon. The Rangers are once again faced with a formidable opponent, but they are able to defeat Dora Ladon with teamwork and their Zords.
In the end, the Rangers learn a lesson about the importance of never giving up and working together to solve problems. They also realize that their enemies will always be attempting to outwit them and that they need to keep their guard up at all times. Overall, "Scary Riddles" is a thrilling episode that showcases the Rangers' quick thinking and problem-solving skills.
