Ep 13. Hidden Fortress (Part 1 of 2)

In season 1 episode 13 of "Super Robot Monkey Team Hyperforce Go!", titled "Hidden Fortress (Part 1 of 2)", the Hyperforce set out on a dangerous mission. After receiving a distress signal from an ancient robot, the team sets out to investigate and discovers a secret fortress hidden beneath Shuggazoom City.

Upon arriving at the fortress, the team is ambushed by a group of mysterious Sinister Simians. They quickly discover that the Sinister Simians are a new enemy and are more powerful than they anticipated.

The team splits up to gather intel and gather resources they need to take down the Sinister Simians. While exploring the fortress, they discover that the Sinister Simians are led by an old enemy – Mandarin.

Mandarin has constructed a superweapon capable of destroying the entire planet. The weapon is powered by energy from the sun. The Hyperforce realizes that they must stop Mandarin before it’s too late.

Chiro and Nova attempt to sabotage Mandarin's command center, but they are caught by Mandarin's army. Meanwhile, Antauri and Gibson work on creating a device that can disable the superweapon. They manage to create the device and prepare to deploy it.

At the same time, Otto and Sprx attempt to destroy the energy collectors that power the superweapon. They are successful and the superweapon begins to weaken.

Just as the team prepares to launch a final attack, Mandarin reveals to them that this was all part of his plan. He wanted the Hyperforce to weaken the superweapon so he could absorb the energy from the sun and gain immense power.

The episode ends on a cliffhanger, with Mandarin quickly gaining power and the Hyperforce in a dire situation. Will they be able to stop Mandarin before he destroys the planet and gains ultimate power or is it already too late? Tune in to the next episode to find out!
