Mario and Luigi are back to save the day in "Brooklyn Bound," episode 21 of The Super Mario Brothers Super Show season 1. This time, they come across a mysterious woman who needs their help to get back to her home in Brooklyn.
The episode begins with Mario and Luigi lounging around their apartment in the Mushroom Kingdom. They're feeling homesick and missing their old stomping grounds in Brooklyn. Just then, the doorbell rings, and they find a beautiful woman on the doorstep. Her name is Madge, and she's lost and confused. She tells the brothers that she's from Brooklyn and needs to get back there but doesn't know how.
Mario and Luigi quickly jump into action, eager for a chance to return to their old neighborhood. They pack up Madge and head to the Warp Zone, the only way to get back to their world. Once they arrive, they find that the neighborhood has changed a lot since they were last there. Buildings have grown taller, and the streets are much busier than they remember.
As they walk through the city, they encounter a group of rough-looking street toughs. The toughs quickly take a liking to Madge and offer to help her get back to Brooklyn. But Mario and Luigi, smelling something fishy, aren't so sure about these guys. They decide to stick with Madge and see what happens.
The next part of the episode is filled with comedic chase scenes and action-packed battles as Mario and Luigi try to protect Madge from the dangerous streets of Brooklyn. They battle against a gang of Koopa Troopas and even come face-to-face with their arch-nemesis, Bowser.
The final climax of the episode takes place on the rooftops of Brooklyn, where Mario, Luigi, and Madge are surrounded by Bowser and his minions. But with quick thinking and some creative use of their Mario powers, the brothers are able to defeat Bowser once again and save the day.
In the end, Madge gets the help she needed to return home, and Mario and Luigi get a taste of their old neighborhood once again. As the episode comes to a close, the brothers are back in their Mushroom Kingdom apartment, feeling content and happy to have helped someone in need.
Overall, "Brooklyn Bound" is a classic Super Mario Brothers episode filled with humor, action, and adventure. It's a fun trip back to the Mario universe's roots, and fans of the original Super Mario Bros. games will love seeing Mario and Luigi out and about once again.
