Ep 16. The Man in the Moon

He had been using the inhabitants of the moon as test subjects for his experiments.

The Super Friends are appalled by The Man in the Moon's actions, but they also feel compassion for him. They realize that he is ultimately a victim of his own curiosity and ambition, and that he has been living in isolation on the moon for far too long. They decide to help him by using their own special powers to counteract his mind control - freeing the inhabitants of the moon and putting an end to his experiments.

In the end, the Super Friends are able to bring peace to the moon and free Marvin from captivity. They return to Earth, knowing that they have made a positive impact on the world once again.
