In the sixth episode of season 3 of Sunny Day, entitled "Sunny's Squad," Sunny and her friends are getting ready for a big basketball game against Lacey's team. However, there's a hitch in their plans when Doodle accidentally knocks over the trophy they were planning on playing for, breaking it into pieces.
Sunny and her friends are disappointed at the setback, but they refuse to let it get them down. Instead, they come up with the idea to create their own trophy, made out of materials they find around the salon. They form a team - Sunny's Squad - and set to work building their new trophy together.
As they create their trophy, the members of Sunny's Squad start to realize just how much they rely on each other. Blair's excellent fashion sense comes in handy when they're trying to pick out the right colors for the trophy, while Rox helps them brainstorm ideas for its shape. And of course, Doodle is always there to lend a hand (or a paw) whenever they need him.
As they work, they also develop a deeper appreciation for each other's unique strengths. Sunny realizes that while she may be great at coming up with big ideas, it's her teammates who help bring those ideas to life. Together, they're a force to be reckoned with.
When they finally finish their trophy, they're all proud of what they've accomplished together. But the real test comes during the basketball game, as they face off against Lacey's team. Lacey is determined to win, and tries to throw off Sunny's Squad by taunting them about their homemade trophy.
But Sunny and her friends refuse to let Lacey get under their skin. They play their hearts out, and in the end, they emerge victorious. As they hold up their homemade trophy, they know that they may not have won the game without each other's help.
The episode ends with Sunny and her friends sitting down to reflect on the day's events. They all agree that they're proud to be part of Sunny's Squad, and that they couldn't have done it without each other. As they share a laugh and a hug, they know that they're ready for whatever challenges come their way - as long as they're together.
