Ep 22. Radio Silence

Maggie and Oscar, two anthropomorphic animals attending Summer Camp Island, are about to embark on a peculiar adventure in episode 22, entitled "Radio Silence."

The episode opens with Oscar tinkering with the camp's radio, trying to tune in to a baseball game. The antenna asks him to please stop because the radio station is too far away, but Oscar persists, accidentally breaking the antenna and causing the radio to malfunction.

Suddenly, everyone on the island starts speaking in code, and the two friends figure out that the radio has granted them the ability to understand the previously unintelligible language. The duo soon come to realize that the campers and counselors are all part of the same secret society, and they've been discussing highly classified information right under Oscar and Maggie's noses all summer long.

Maggie, unable to keep a secret, blurts out what they've discovered to a counselor, who quickly takes away their radio and tells them that what they did was wrong. The duo tries to explain that they didn't think the society's information was meant to be kept a secret, but nobody will listen.

Feeling wronged, Maggie and Oscar sneak into the secret society's meeting to try and get to the bottom of what they've uncovered. The society is discussing a top-secret order to construct an even bigger antenna, one that could communicate with other planets. Maggie and Oscar begin to wonder why such an incredible breakthrough hasn't been shared with the rest of the world.

They spy on the society's president, Susie, and learn that she is planning on using the technology for her own personal gain, hoping to enslave any extraterrestrial beings they encounter. Maggie and Oscar are horrified and realize they must stop the society's president and make things right again.

The pair concoct a plan to sabotage the antenna just before it is supposed to be activated, and they manage to deactivate it just in time. The Society is quickly furious and puts Maggie and Oscar on trial, accusing them of espionage, but the other campers come to their aid, arguing that they haven't really done anything wrong.

The episode concludes with Maggie and Oscar being made honorary members of the society, and everyone laughing about how they won't be able to have any more secrets with them around. They say their goodbyes to the anthropomorphic animals of Summer Camp Island and head off on their next adventure.
