Street Art Throwdown was a reality competition series that aired on Oxygen from February to April of 2015. The show was hosted by artist and designer Lauren Wagner and featured renowned street artist Justin Bua as one of the judges. Each week, eight artists competed in various challenges related to street art, including graffiti, murals, and installations. The artists were given limited time and resources to complete their projects, adding an element of excitement and tension to the show.

One of the unique aspects of Street Art Throwdown was that the artists didn't just create their pieces in a studio, but rather on location in various parts of Los Angeles. This allowed them to incorporate local landmarks and cultures into their work, resulting in some truly awe-inspiring pieces.

Lauren and Justin were joined on the judging panel by rotating celebrity guests, including hip-hop legend Fat Joe, rapper and producer Redman, and actress and street artist Michelle Rodriguez. The judges evaluated the artists based on their creativity, technical skills, and ability to work well under pressure.

In addition to the challenges, the show also gave viewers a behind-the-scenes look into the process of creating street art. Each episode featured interviews with the artists, as well as segments on the history and evolution of street art as an art form.

While Street Art Throwdown was a competition, it was also a celebration of the street art community. Many of the artists bonded during the show and shared their personal stories with each other and the audience.

Overall, Street Art Throwdown was a dynamic and visually stunning show that brought the exciting and often misunderstood world of street art to a wider audience.

Street Art Throwdown is a series that ran for 1 seasons (8 episodes) between February 3, 2015 and on Oxygen
