Episode 4 of Strangers From Hell begins with Jong Woo, the protagonist, being informed that he has to move out of his apartment due to renovations. Fortunately, the landlord finds him a new place to stay. However, Jong Woo quickly realizes that the new apartment is nothing like he expected. The building is old and run-down, with a creepy atmosphere that makes him feel uneasy.

As Jong Woo settles into his new living quarters, he meets a number of his new neighbors. There's a creepy old woman who never seems to leave her room and a young girl who is always covered in bruises. He also gets introduced to a group of young men who live down the hall. They seem friendly at first, but Jong Woo quickly discovers that they are anything but. They are loud and rowdy, constantly arguing and fighting with each other.

Despite all of the weirdness around him, Jong Woo tries to settle into his new life. He starts his new job as a dishwasher at a local restaurant, where he meets a coworker named Soo Jung. Soo Jung is friendly and eager to help Jong Woo navigate his new surroundings. However, she seems to know a lot more about the strange happenings in the apartment building than she's letting on.

As Jong Woo spends more time in the building, he begins to notice strange things happening around him. One night, he hears a woman screaming from one of the other apartments. He also starts to notice that the people he sees around the building seem to be watching him. The young men down the hall become more aggressive towards him, and he becomes convinced that they are plotting something against him.

Jong Woo's paranoia reaches a breaking point when he discovers that someone has been breaking into his apartment while he's asleep. He starts to become more and more isolated from the people around him, convinced that anyone could be behind the break-ins. He tries to confide in Soo Jung, but she doesn't seem to believe him.

As the episode reaches its climax, Jong Woo's fears are realized when a group of masked men break into his apartment. He is forced to fight for his life, using whatever he can find as a weapon. In the aftermath of the attack, Jong Woo discovers a shocking secret about one of his neighbors that puts everything into perspective.
